KeelEazy Protective Kayak Keel / SUP Strip ( White )
KeelEazy protective strip is made of PVC with an
adhesive back. While developed primarily for use on boat hulls, it works
wherever abrasion is an issue.It is very easy to install. Simply clean
the area, remove the blue backing film and press into place. It requires
at least 70 degree room temperature or the use of a heat gun or
hairdryer. You can remove by applying heat from a hair dryer or heat gun
and peeling it away. Any adhesive residue can be removed with alcohol
or “goof off”. It adheres to plastic, fiberglass composite,
Polyethylene, varnish, resin and metal.
KeelEazy Protective strip is a self-adhesive (peel and stick) strip that
provides an extremely durable surface anywhere that abrasion is a
concern. Ideally suited for the keel of kayaks, it is also used on
boats, canoes, jet skis, car doors etc…. It is easily applied to
fiberglass, Polyethylene, thermoformed ABS and metal surfaces and can be
molded over compound curves with the use of a heat gun. The 3/32” PVC
material comes in 50mm widths, but can be strip cut to 1”, 1.5”
widths. Black and white KeelEeazy is available in cut lengths and sold
by the Metre. KeelEazy can be applied full length or on a specific wear spot.
